Popular stops

Where to go in Seoul

Mix and match. Your day is private, so pick the places you love and skip the rest. Something else on your list? Just ask.

  1. Gyeongbokgung Palace

    Jongno-gu

The grandest of Seoul's Joseon-era palaces. Catch the royal guard changing ceremony at the main gate, and get in free if you wear hanbok.

  2. Bukchon Hanok Village

    Jongno-gu

Hundreds of traditional hanok homes line the hilly lanes between two palaces. Locals still live here, so we visit in the daytime and keep voices low.

  3. Insadong and Ikseon-dong

    Jongno-gu

Tea houses, craft shops and street snacks in Seoul's arts quarter, with tiny hanok cafes hidden in the alleys nearby.

  4. N Seoul Tower

    Yongsan-gu

The classic view over the whole city from the top of Namsan Mountain, with the famous love lock terraces. Beautiful by day and even better after dark.

  5. Myeongdong

    Jung-gu

Seoul's busiest shopping streets, packed with K-beauty stores by day and sizzling street food stalls in the evening.

  6. Gwangjang Market

    Jongno-gu

One of Korea's oldest traditional markets. Come hungry for crispy bindaetteok, mayak gimbap and noodles made fresh at the counter.

  7. Lotte World Tower and Seoul Sky

    Songpa-gu

Korea's tallest building, with a glass-floored observation deck nearly 500 meters above the city.

  8. Starfield Library at COEX

    Gangnam-gu

Towering walls of bookshelves inside the COEX Mall, and one of the most photographed spots in Gangnam.
